My only child is also a nurse and I have learned from her many stories that it is truly an amazing profession, sometimes thankless, but so rewarding. It's "moments" like this that seem to make it all worthwhile. Not everyone has what it takes to be a good nurse. I believe you do, and I wish you a joyful life and a wonderful lifelong career. I also have panic attacks and feel stupid coming in to the ER, when i though i was dieing, not having a panic attack. You get to see everything from birth to death and everything in between.....some of the best and worst of society. There is NO place like the ED and it's wonderful!
